Verdict
This looks wide-open with Calder Prince and Twin Appeal closely matched on their run together behind Kenstone at Chester, though the former is possibly better over an extra furlong. Only a neck separated Theodorico and NOBLE PEACE behind Squats at Newbury last month and Henry Candy’s gelding is now a pound better off. He also met trouble in-running at the Berkshire track and can come out on top today. Muntadab can now race off a lower mark than when placed three times in competitive handicaps at the start of the season and this is probably his time of year so the top weight can’t be ignored.
