Verdict

CAPONOVA returned the shock 50/1 winner over track and trip recently. The step up in distance obviously suited and there should be more to come from him representing last year’s winning trainer. Raven Banner will be hoping to emulate the latter as she tackles middle-distances for the first time but Schoolboy Error failed to cope with a rise in the weights at Bath recently having won on the all-weather earlier. A winner at Wolverhampton, Artful Mind should finish closer back at this lower level and may prove best of the rest.
