In depth
Formwatch
Jolly Green Giant (IRE) Step up in trip should suit this improving novice chaser who has proved a relevation since trying the larger obstacles; improvement needed to take this event but he is on the upgrade.
Somemanforoneman (IRE) Acts on soft and stays 3m; front runner who could spring a surprise if jumping a clear round.
Asparagus (IRE) Showed promise on his chasing debut at Chepstow in September but has had problems since; needs to prove himself further before being backed with any confidence.
Master Club Royal Stepping up in class and well held on evidence of only start over fences; acts on heavy ground.
Triona's Hope (IRE) Hopelessly out of depth.
Cloigeann Rua (IRE) Still to complete over fences; best avoided
Idalgo de Guye (FR) Showed up well for a long while at Catterick recently but this is a big step up in class.
Behrajan (IRE) High class hurdler who has taken well to fences; capitulated up the Cheltenham hill last time but stable was under a cloud at the time; the one to beat here (also declared at Newbury 1.00.)
Frantic Tan (IRE) Longer trip looks sure to suit this former smart bumper winner; ran well behind Jolly Green Giant at Warwick last month and has the beating of him on that form.
