Verdict

Mysterious Wonder attracted massive support on his debut at Hamilton but never looked like justifying odds-on favouritism. He cost 80,000gns and is obviously highly-regarded. Richard Hannon won this a year ago and the once-raced Caramack represents him here. He didn't enjoy the best of runs over 7f at Sandown and with much better expected looks best of those with experience. DUTIFUL SON cost 150,000 euros and is by Invincible Spirit out of a mare who won from 5f to a mile including a Group 3. He should be tuned up for this and can make a winning start though fellow newcomer Ribaat is by the same sire and cost twice as much as a yearling.
