Danchai beat Tres Coronas and Awake My Soul when landing the John Smith's Cup at York last month and should make another bold bid. He's preferred to another recent York winner in Chancery but Sennockian Star could prove a threat having beaten Vasily at Ascot last time. Gabrial The Great has been raised a harsh-looking 9lb for his recent victory at Newbury but Labarinto has gone up only 1lb for a close-up third to Viewpoint in a similar grade to this at Goodwood.
