Verdict
Jumbeau may be treading water off her current mark but did finish more than two lengths ahead of Coco Jamboo at Newmarket in June. Secret Mistral boasts a decent record here and Noor Bano and First Of May both won their penultimate start but COUPLET (NAP), a winner over course and distance on debut last year, didn’t do a lot wrong when trying to give a well-bred newcomer 7lb at Doncaster on her reappearance and an opening mark of 79 in handicaps looks fair. Quandary took a big step forward when scoring over 5f at Pontefract so can’t be ignored.
