Verdict

A low draw could be an advantage in this big field and recent Nottingham winner Show Palace has been allotted stall one so has every chance of a follow-up. Pearl Acclaim’s second at Musselburgh might be the best recent form but softer going would be a concern. Savannah Beau would have every chance on her second at Ascot and Hamish Mcgonagain, the pick of David O’Meara’s two runners, is another to consider on these terms but ORIENTAL SPLENDOUR has held his form remarkably well and is clearly thriving on racing. This will be his seventh start in just over two months but he shouldn’t be far away again.
