In depth
Verdict
Although he has never won on soft ground INVINCIBLE FORCE has proved that he handles it with some good efforts in defeat and he can take this classified contest from The Trader. Not many of these relish testing ground and so the writing could be on the wall for many of them from some way out, but Invincible Force has enjoyed a decent season without winning and he has slipped a few pounds in the handicap as a result, so he makes an attractive enough proposition here given his ability on the ground. The Trader prefers it quicker but he has won with cut in the ground over this trip a few years ago and so is not without hope as he is not in bad shape. Crying Aloud has enjoyed a good year with a couple of fibresand wins over this trip, and there is hope for connections that she might handle this slow ground today. Whiskey Junction, Methaaly and Trafalgar Bay would all prefer a much quicker surface, while Bond City has gone off the boil and we will put up Invincible Force as the selection here.
