Verdict
CAVENDISH ROAD can match is cyclist namesake and prove too speedy for this handicap field and he is taken to do so ahead of Sir Mark Prescott's Speed Dating and top-weight Fortunate Bid. Having tasted success last time out the pick found his mark go up three pounds. However, that is negated with a top conditional claiming three booked to take the ride and while it is true he is yet to win over this far he has only been given limited opportunities to stay and he has promised in the past he should. Anything Sir Mark Prescott sends out at the moment has to be respected with the maestro in such good form and Speed Dating should go well in this company after running a solid race off this mark on his handicap bow. Fortunate Bid found a step up to the mile trip exactly to his liking last time out. That was on his handicap debut so the six pounds penalty added to his load might not be enough to stop him fully. Harriet's Girl and Dean Iarracht have small claims after some solid efforts recently but Cavendish Road looks the route to follow.
