Christmas Carnival and Spa's Dancer are useful benchmarks in this maiden but with both of them looking exposed in this company we opt for THABIT form a yard in form. Related to Classic winners among a number of other success stories the pick ran a solid debut. This will be his first start since that run over 400 days ago but the form lines from it are rock solid and Michael Jarvis has his string in good heart. Christmas Carnival has been in contention in all four starts so far and this looks like it could be his easiest assignment yet while Spa's Dancer has a similar profile but looks to have a slightly stronger claim after placing off a mark of 80 in a handicap last time. The danger with this one is though that something might improve past him. Jubilant Lady looks the most interesting newcomer and has winning relations across the globe so any market support coming her way would be interesting but the feeling is that in time Thabit will be a class above this lot and could start that here.
