Verdict

Nicky Henderson has produced many a miracle is bringing back stable inmates to compete at the highest level, as evinced by the excellent run of MY TENT OR YOURS when a fine second in the Champion Hurdle in March behind Annie Power after a lay-off of almost two years. He does like to travel off a fast pace and that has to be a concern here with just a quartet going to post but hopefully his class will shine through and deliver a first success since early 2014. Old Guard is interesting back over timber after not looking the most natural over fences and commands plenty of respect and reigning Scottish Champion Hurdler Ch'tibello must surely harbour scope for further improvement. Hopefully the Henderson contender will prevail in what should prove an intriguing tactical battle.
