In depth

Verdict

My Moment created a favourable impression when successful on his second start over fences at Warwick earlier this month having run promisingly first time out over the larger obstacles and Henry Daly's gelding has solid claims but he may have to settle for minor honours behind BEDLAM BOY, who gets the vote with Quwetwo rated the best of the rest. The selection was useful over hurdles and has shown a decent level of form in both starts over fences in winning contests at Carlisle and Ayr in good fashion and Ferdy Murphy's gelding looks the one to beat. Stable companion Big Burrows is capable but looks the second best of the two Murphy runners with a bigger threat likely to come from Tartan Snow. Stuart Coltherd's gelding was beaten behind Bedlam Boy at Ayr last time and is strictly held on running that day but that was his seasonal reappearance and there may be more to come. Jonjo O'Neill's Al Co has disappointed in both starts over fences so far and is hard to recommend in a race where Quwetwo looks more likely to play a part in the finish. Howard Johnson's gelding is lightly raced having had just five runs so far and he has to be considered on his first outing of the season and his chasing debut. Bedlam Boy has an obvious chance on recent form though and looks the one they all have to beat.
