    Verdict

    Farrants Way showed some progress when finishing a lot closer at Ffos Las on his latest start though Venetia Williams’ charge may find FOXEY too good in this. The latter’s best effort so far came when third in soft going at Newcastle and the first two home have both subsequently won. James Ewart’s charge gets the vote on that form though the newcomer Cheddleton is a half-brother to a bumper and hurdles winner and worth a second glance.
