Verdict

Follow Intello won over 1m4f at Newbury before struggling behind Buckland Boy over the same trip at Thirsk. Charlie Fellowes’ charge has given the impression this extra distance will suit and is preferred to Contrebasse on the evidence of the latter’s previous attempts over today’s distance. Beer With The Boys can figure with a recent outing at Sandown under his belt but MATCHMAKING made a winning reappearance at Brighton last year when recording the first of four wins and with this longer trip expected to bring further progress, he gets the nod representing Sir Mark Prescott’s in-form yard.
