Verdict
Toby Lerone had slipped down to his previous winning mark when scoring at Lingfield a week ago so an 8lb rise is off-putting. Red Admirable has been raised the same amount for winning a lower grade chase at Bangor and Firebird Flyer also has a hike in the weights to contend with after scoring at Ffos Las. The latter couldn't cope with BROADWAY BUFFALO (NAP) over track and trip back in May when David Pipe's charge won off a 6lb higher mark. He looks to have every chance on that form and is preferred to Howard's Legacy. The latter has something to prove off today's mark having come up short at Ascot last time but Fill The Power could figure on his recent second at Carlisle. Safran De Cotte was pulled up in last year's renewal and it's been over two years since the once useful Bold Sir Brian showed any worthwhile form.
