Richard Fahey is in good form and INGLEBY SPIRIT can land this maiden at the main expense of Nave and Whelkeen Rock. The selection took a while for the penny to drop on his debut at Ripon but he was running on well at the finish and he will have learnt plenty for the experience. This slightly longer trip should suit and he looks capable of making a bold bid. Whelkeen Rock hails from a yard that do well with their juveniles and he is sure to know his job on his racecourse debut. Mark Johnston has got a good strike-rate with his two-year-olds so Nave is certainly worth a market check, although he is bred to appreciate a slightly longer trip. Brinscall showed promise on her debut and this filly is another who has to enter calculations, but in a race where the market may provide the clues we will stick with Ingleby Spirit as the pick.
