    Verdict

Greyfriars Drummer's recent maiden victory boosted the form of his earlier defeat at the hands of CRY FURY. The latter nearly snatched defeat from the jaws of victory at Kempton last time when veering away from the whip, but the manner in which he swept into the lead was impressive and Roger Charlton's colt will know more today. Only a short-head separated Reflect and Wayward Glance at Newbury last month and the former has since won at Salisbury. Both should have a say in this along with Brown Panther, who beat several previous winners including today's rival Gottany O'S in a handicap at Chester last time. We may still not have seen the best of Qushchi yet as she takes another step up in trip, but the remainder look up against it on their form to date.
