Verdict

DANZART rattled up a May-June three-timer this season and backed up his treble with two solid 7f efforts off notably higher marks. He seems to be holding his form well, has gone close on the forecast soft ground in the past and is likely to appreciate returning to six furlongs here. Course and distance winner Cold Stare has now gone 22 runs since getting on the scoresheet but has finished runner-up three times this season and his yard is now in tremendous form after an untypically quiet spell. He has to be considered along with Asadjumeirah, who has also been winless for 22 starts but is knocking on the door quite loudly. It all makes for a tricky contest in which Desert Doctor, returning after almost a year off, is the one requiring a market check.
