In depth
Verdict
Sammy B got off the mark at Musselburgh last month and won very easily over this trip at Kelso subsequently. But he was raised 10lb after that and the second was only third at Newcastle on Saturday. The Wallace Line almost caught Catchin Time at Warwick last month but that form has also been devalued recently. Future Gilded can race off a 5lb lower mark than over fences but is having his first run over the smaller obstacles in this country and Forty Crown does most of his winning at Kelso. With Awaywiththegreys struggling for his best form, this can go to ROBIN OF LOCKSLEY (NAP), who had little to beat at Warwick 10 days ago but won by a distance in a canter and only has a 7lb penalty to carry.
