Verdict
There's not much between the leading contenders at the weights but RED PIKE has the best recent form. He scored at Thirsk before going close at Hamilton last week so Bryan Smart's charge gets the nod. Iftaar came good in a lowly maiden race at Brighton on his return and will find this tougher while Ashkari won at Bath last month but was well beaten on his handicap bow. Rural Celebration ran well at Beverley on her first start handicapping and the inconsistent Amahoro has bits of form that could see him figure.
