Verdict
Miss Firefly gets the confident vote in this maiden with Broken Applause and Gaitskell rating the main dangers. The selection was a good second behind Dubai Dynamo last time out at Goodwood despite not handling the track. This more conventional track should suit better and from a good draw she looks the one to be on. Broken Applause rates the main danger as she is a well bred filly by Acclamation and with her yard in form she should be watched in the market. Gaitskell is another that could go well on his debut fourth behind Kersaint but the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time. Of the remainder Eastern Romance has ran with promise in the past but will be handicaped after this run and that is where his future may lie, while Foreign Rhythm is another well bred type but his stable are not renowned for debutante winners and with this in mind Miss Firefly will be hard to beat.
