Verdict

Trail Blaze scored over C&D before going close again back at this track last week. He acts on soft ground and sets the standard here as the likes of Gaul Wood, Lady Loch, On The Hoof and Annie Walker are all 7f winners unproven over today's trip. Likewise PROPHESY as the former Ballydoyle inmate made a winning debut for new connections over 7f at Catterick last month. However, he did so without breaking sweat and there looks plenty more to come from Declan Carroll's charge this season. The Godolphin colt Kiz Kulesi won over a mile at Newmarket in October on his only start to date and any strong support in the betting would suggest a big run is expected from him.
