Jaaryah was pitched in at the deep end on her seasonal reappearance, though wasn't disgraced in finishing fifth in the Cheshire Oaks in May. She hasn't raced since, however, and has never encountered ground this soft before. Salisbury maiden winner Tasheyaat has a similar absence to overcome, while Fashionable Gal and Kenyan Cat may be in the handicapper's grip now. EL TORBELLINO has twice finished ahead of Umseyat this year, including when making all for a five-length success at Nottingham last time. The latter enjoys a turnaround in the weights here but David O'Meara's filly may still be on an upward curve and, importantly, also has winning form on an easy surface. She gets the vote, though the booking of Kieren Fallon for the lightly-raced Qaraaba is interesting.
