Verdict

Some old rivals lock horns again in this sprint. COUNT D’ORSAY and Nomadic Empire finished upsides when third and fourth respectively in the Portland at Doncaster with Burning Cash and Sunday Sovereign among the also-rans. That was a welcome return to form for Tim Easterby’s six-year-old, whose last win came here two years ago off a 3lb higher mark, and he’ll have the rail to help him run straight and true. The in-form Isle Of Lismore is drawn alongside and looks a threat but Windsor runner-up Equality and Nottingham winner Night On Earth may be drawn away from the key action. The Thin Blue Line ran well in last week’s Ayr Bronze Cup and is better over 5f, as is Zarzyni. Alligator Alley also has claims but usually needs luck in-running.
