Verdict
SAM RED found the Listed company at Wincanton too hot a fortnight ago and was pulled-up once all chance had gone. But he was left on the lead at Cheltenham before that when the likely winner ducked out and this extra distance will suit. Dawson City won the Devon National at Exeter back in February but may need the outing today and Bishops Road is preferred dropping down a grade having been well beaten when third at Aintree last month. Red Infantry also faces an easier task than at Cheltenham on his reappearance but Little Bruce has been raised 8lb for winning at Hexham earlier in the month. Alvarado is still capable at this level on his day despite his age and is not badly treated.
