        Verdict

        DANCE ON THE DAY beat a subsequent winner when scoring at Wolverhampton last month. Tom Dascombe’s filly should make another bold bid in this company despite carrying a penalty. Improve will need to do just that on the back of a modest debut effort at Newmarket while the returning Black Lotus looks best of the rest with racecourse experience. Shamlahar is the first foal of a Listed winner and preferred to Mojika of the newcomers.
