      Verdict

Having won the last three renewals, Sir Mark Prescott gives someone else a chance this year and Luca Cumani looks like benefiting with RICHARD OF YORKE. The latter scored at Ascot three weeks ago when stepped up to 1m4f and this longer trip should bring further improvement. Wind Place And Sho beat St Lawrence Gap to win over today's trip at Sandown in July and can confirm superiority on better terms. The latter has since finished ahead of Munstead Pride over 2m at Kempton while Sleep Easy failed to land hat-trick upped in class over track and trip last time. Black Key didn't fare too badly in Class 2 company on his latest start and could figure in this lower grade.
