        Verdict

        Midnights Legacy completed a hat-trick before finding York's Melrose Handicap a step too far and back in this grade should do much better. However, KING'S CHARISMA, who also landed a three-timer before running in the Melrose, performed very much better on the Knavesmire where he would have finished closer but for being impeded. He gets the nod as though. Boss Power was impressive when stepping up to this trip at Wolverhampton he has yet to face soft ground. Prince Alex steps up a grade from 5lb higher after completing a hat-trick in Class 4 company at Leicester but he'll enjoy the conditions.
