      Verdict

      Rainbow's Edge, Contemplation and Encrypt look the three to concentrate on in this maiden with the confident vote going to Rainbow's Edge. The selection was a fair third behind Kassiopeia on his debut, is sure to have come on for the run and under conditions that should suit he will be hard to beat. Contemplation rates the main danger on his debut second behind Shipmaster but all he did on that occasion was stay so the drop in trip has to be of concern. Encrypt was a fair third behind Souffleur last time and is another with place claims but he has had plenty of chances. The remainder have shown very little and are readily opposed and for the winner we return to Rainbow's Edge.
