In depth
Verdict
Northern Thunder posted a better effort when second over 6f at Ascot. Any further progress as he drops back to the minimum trip would see him in the mix. But LOVE OASIS gets another chance in this as Mark Johnston’s charge faces an easier task than when sixth in a Listed contest over 5f at York last time. Gerrard's Return has some improving to do to figure but Major Cornwallis and Burrishoole Abbey are newcomers to keep an eye on.
