Verdict
Copperwood is a law unto himself but has been thereabouts off similar marks on the all-weather and it would be no surprise to see him go close if in the mood. Paramour made an encouraging reappearance at Thirsk while Xinbama and McCool Bannanas have a chance if reproducing their recent form on the Polytrack and make more appeal than One Scoop Or Two and Lord of The Dance. CONO ZUR came good around this time last year and is 2lb lower than his last winning mark. The good to firm ground is perfect for Ruth Carr's front-runner, who should be cherry-ripe now, is ideally drawn and could well make all if allowed an easy lead. No Dominion and Sky Crossing should win more races this year but are likely to need this.
