In depth

Verdict

A competitive handicap but FORZA ORTA can go one better than when runner-up in a similar contest on the opening day of the Dante meeting at York. He remains progressive and can handle a 3lb rise for that effort with David Egan a good booking. Contact is another strong contender after impressing at Newmarket when last seen and he will be well suited by conditions. Plenty of others can also be given a shout with the lightly-raced Mahrajaan shortlist material after impressing last term for the in-form Haggas yard.
