    Verdict

Empowerment won on his handicap debut at Folkestone in good style last week. He carries a penalty today but the likely testing ground is more of a worry and HARDY RED looks the safer proposition. The latter sprinted clear of a previous winner to score in soft going at Ffos Las on his latest start and has every chance of following up. Megaleka was still beaten four lengths when she was second in soft ground at Catterick and another Ffos Las winner in Angels Calling also has something to prove on the surface. Santo Prince posted a better effort over 7f last time and makes most appeal of the remainder.
