        Verdict

        Scamperdale can race off a 10lb lower mark back on turf and, considering he won three times on this surface last year, is worthy of consideration. Warlu Way was beaten only a length at Salisbury last time and has solid claims along with recent Doncaster winner Oriental Cavalier. Hydrant and Ubi Ace are others with a chance but, in a wide-open contest, the vote goes to BUTLER. He popped up over 1m2f at Ripon last month and, after going close again at Sandown recently, Luca Cumani's charge is well worth a try over this longer trip.
