Verdict
Lexi's Hero sets a fair standard in this maiden but there is a danger he is a little exposed in this field so preference is for a newcomer in GLEN'S DIAMOND while Blackleyf should be better than he's shown. Richard Fahey has had plenty of success with his youngsters this term so although the selection may need further in time he should run a big race keeping up with some winning family members. Lexi's Hero is rated at a useful enough 83 and has been in contention in all four of his career runs. The pick of those was over course and distance last time out and a similar run might be enough. Blackleyf isn't all that straight forward but showed a spark of ability before eased down last time. First time headgear will have to bring about improvement but he's not ruled out. Easy Over is another interesting newcomer from a yard that can ready one but Glen's Diamond looks the part on paper and can prove it on grass.
