Verdict

After looking very smart in two starts so far well side with KAPTAIN KIRKUP to land this Nursery Handicap despite the assessor using complete guess work to award his mark; Kylladdie and Gilburg look best placed to take advantage if the selection's burden is too high. Rated at a very useful looking 90 the selection has looked very impressive when landing both of his career starts so far. Both have come over this trip and with no yard sticks to judge his mark by we'll chance he can concede nearly a stone all around here and still come out on top. Kyladdie still looked a little green last time and lost plenty of ground to finish a distance last. If he can recover form that his maiden form offers hope and his mark is on the fair side. Gilburg found just one to good last time and should go even closer on this run with two pounds taken of her burden while Strike Shot has won his only start at this track and can be forgiven his last run. Plenty of guess work involved on all fronts here but Kaptain Kirkup has looked smart enough to defy these terms.
