Verdict
DONA remains capable of better now his yard are in better form and he is preferred to Mister Pous and El Distintivo. Alan King's French import was disappointing behind Chaninbar at Taunton when last seen but he had shown promise before and after a two month break he is fancied to run a much better race today. El Distintivo has been a model of consistency of late but he has a 7lb rise in the weights for finishing second last time out, Freddy's Star should appreciate the drop in trip today as he returns from a break, whilst Akarshan won well last time at Market Rasen and is considered off a 6lb higher mark. Bella Haze is a very solid front-runner who has won here before, Nothing's Easy is interesting on this first start in a handicap, whilst Root Cause put in his best effort for some time at Carlisle last time on his UK debut. Mister Pous is potentially well-treated on his third to Noun De La Thinte in December, however the vote here goes to Dona.
