Verdict

Iris's Flyer, Shankly Bond and Investment Wings are three against the field in a tough race to call for punters and the narrow vote is given to Iris's Flyer. The selection was a fair third behind Gentle John last time out, that form sets the standard in the context of this race and he need only run up to that mark to score. Shankly Bond rates the main danger on his latest third behind Easy Laughter, he looks sure to improve for this slightly longer trip and with his yard back amongst the winners he will not be far away. Investment Wings is another that could go well on his latest second behind Shropshirelass but he has had plenty of chances off similar marks without taking one. Of the remainder Notre Cyborg is from a shrewd yard but they are struggling for winners at present and for the winner we return to Iris's Flyer.
