In depth

Verdict

Young Lou certainly deserves a change of luck but a strike-rate of 1-31 is off-putting and she’s been raised a pound since her length second over track and trip last month. There is no evidence that Exeter second Late Shipment stays this far but stamina is not an issue for FLEMI TWO TOES, back to form at Southwell last time. Tommie O’Brien’s claim wipes out the extra 7lb. Violets Girl will have to reverse Exeter running with Late Shipment while Celtic Tune was still well beaten when third at Warwick. That's Gonna Sting was always going well when scoring at Ludlow in November but didn’t pick up when a hot favourite to follow up at Taunton and has gone up 8lb since.
