In depth

Verdict

Blakeney Coast, Breaking Breeze and Solve It Sober look the main contenders with the last named getting the vote. Solve It Sober was seen to good effect at Chepstow on his penultimate start and although that was in selling company he showed he still retains the ability to win in this grade by finishing a good second to Lonesome Man at Stratford last time out and is worth siding with again today. Blakeney Coast will pose the greatest danger and although he has risen in the weights since his latest victory at Plumpton he will again run his race. Breaking Breeze has top weight and because of his consistency the handicapper is reluctant to drop him. He will struggle again but will get prize money so for the winner we return to Solve It Sober.
