In depth

Verdict

A wide open bumper rounds off the card and as usual in these events the market will be all important but the principals look to be Spit, No Panic and Lake Barrine and the vote is given to Spit. The selection won well on his de3but when beating Mem O'Rees and although having a penalty for that win he looks sure to improve and will be hard to beat. No Panic rates the main dangers as he has shaped with promise in both starts to date but he has already indicated he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip. Lake Barrine shaped with promise on his debut but did not go on from that next time. Of the remainder My Moment is a Presenting gelding out of an unraced mare and is worth a cautionary look in the market but for the winner we return to Spit who looks sure to improve
