In depth
Verdict
Game On made his handicap debut in a Grade 3 at Sandown and will find this a lot easier. He’d looked a progressive novice earlier but is up against an in-form rival who already has a course and distance win to his name in FLASHJACK. Henry Daly’s gelding has shot up the weights but continues to find what’s required and might complete the five-timer before the handicapper finally gains control. Groundunderrepair has been creeping up the weights without winning while this may be too far for Cougar Kid but Malapie stays well and Vieux Lille is potentially well treated. Surtee Du Berlais hasn’t taken to fences but could be on a decent mark back over hurdles.
