NEW REPUBLIC (NAP) made a successful handicap debut at Wincanton on Saturday and a 7lb penalty is negated by Conor Ring's 3lb claim so a quick double looks on the cards. Bring Back Charlie won a similar class handicap at Uttoxeter in October but hasn't done as well in two subsequent runs but Edgar won over fences during the summer and a recent run on the Flat should have put him straight for this.
