        Verdict

        A couple of these drop down in trip including Volcano, who landed a double over 3m with last month’s victory at Warwick, while Orrisdale finished fourth over the same distance at Wetherby. Dusky Lark was still well beaten when second at Exeter but FLAGRANT DELITIEP (NAP) scored over 2m4f back on soft going at Wincanton and Robert Walford’s grey looks capable of defying a rise in the weights with plenty more to come over fences. Subcontinent disappointed in testing ground here last time while stablemate Brianstorm was due to run at Exeter yesterday.
