In depth

Verdict

BATHWICK QUEST'S recent fourth at Newton Abbot is easily the best form on offer here and David Pipe's mare should finally open her account over fences today if she can reproduce that effort. Numen has plenty to prove after a modest first run for Lucy Jones, while Humbel Ben hasn't really taken to fences so far. Dunshane could go well on his fencing bow, however, and makes more appeal than Persian Run, who hasn't really built on his second at Taunton in February.
