In depth

Verdict

Sissinghurst is enjoying the twilight of his career and showed he handled the surface when second at Wetherby over Christmas. Ryan Potter’s gelding looks a threat to all in this but it’s about time mud-lover OXWICH BAY was getting his head back in front after decent efforts lately over fences and hurdles. Lugg River remains unexposed but was a market drifter here last time and soon beaten but Storm Force Ben was staying on behind Thursday’s easy Ludlow winner Sandymount Rose at Exeter and shouldn’t be far away if repeating that effort.
