Cafe Au Lait won at Wetherby last month and has been placed in both starts since at Catterick and Warwick. He’s probably still on a decent mark and shouldn’t be far away again. Highland Life won a novices’ handicap at Bangor in January but reverted to type next time at Huntingdon. This might be on the short side for Red Admirable but he’s tumbling down the handicap, though has to give 17lb to ACTIONDANCER. The latter was 10 lengths behind Cafe Au Lait at Warwick but meets him on more favourable terms and can get a lot closer if he jumps a little better - his trainer has a good strike-rate here.
