Verdict
Calcot Flyer, Yvanovitch and Gallik Dawn look the three to concentrate on in this handicap chase and the confident vote is given to Calcot Flyer. The selection won well last time out when beating Native Daisy and although he has a penalty for that win he won with plenty in hand and still looks ahead of the handicapper and he will be hard to beat under conditions that suit. Yvanovitch rates the main danger on his latest second behind Master T but his best form is over a much shorter trip and for that reason he is opposed. Gallik Dawn is another worthy of respect on his latest second behind Paddy The Optimist but he continues to be let down by his jumping and he will need to improve in that department if he is to score. Of the remainder Macgeorge has been beaten in hunter chases of late and looks to be on a high enough mark while Ibin St James is unexposed over fences and could go well at a price but he is very fragile and for the winner we return to Calcot Flyer.
