Not many of these have much worthwhile form and this may not be as competitive as the numbers suggest with marginal preference for Ericas Charm, who gets the vote ahead of Brave Jo and Canopus. The last mentioned is hard to evaluate making his debut in a handicap after just three starts but the three-year-old does not have much weight and the yard of Jonjo O'Neill has been back among the winners of late so he has to be respected. Mapilut du Moulin ran better behind the well treated Rushneeyriver when last seen in June but an absence since then has to be of concern, while Stokesies Boy disappointed at Uttoxeter last time and may now be best watched. Rhetoric has been well held of late and of more interest may be Brave Jo, who is set to go up 3lbs in future handicaps following an improved display last time. Ericas Charm is also set for a weights rise following his latest effort and his form looks the better so he is marginally preferred.
