Verdict
Desert Spa is taken to follow up at the expense of Gan Eagla, Atlantis and Sailor A'Hoy in the opener. This amateur riders' event should not take too much winning and Desert Spa should make a bold bid to follow up his recent course and distance victory in which he made most of the running under today's pilot David Turner. That was a seller but this is little better and with the ground riding pretty much the same as it was 12 days ago, he gets the vote. Gan Eagla in contrast drops in grade after being well beaten at Cheltenham last time in the race won by Over The Creek. He should go close along with Atlantis, fourth at Kempton a fortnight ago, and Sailor A'Hoy, although the latter's fitness will have to be taken on trust. For the winner we return to Desert Spa.
